Timings for 2004 bonus tracks supplied by Bobby Truscott, January 2005.
Tracks: Bonus tracks on 2004 re-issue (all in mono):
Musicians: Liner notes: The earth is a living thing just as we are and has a soul as we do. You look at the heavens through a telescope.Reverse the telescope and you have a microscope through which (if powerfulenough), you would see almost the same sight. (Electrons in orbit aroundtheir stars.) "In my father's house there are many mansions"(The Bible). We are most probably existing on amolecule inside the material of, perhaps, a living thing in the next sizeup. The rocket ship shape of churches probablydates back to Moses' visit to speak to God on the mountain and what hesaw there. Reviews: Jim Tones reviewed 'Space Hymns' in 2004 on Julian Cope's Head Heritage website. Read his excellent review here... Comments: 2004 Space Hymns re-issue Strawberry Studios: It [Strawberry Studios]even attracted a self-confessed reincarnated Egyptian god called Ramases(really a central heating salesman from Sheffield) who came to Stockportwith his wife, Sel, and, with Stewart, Godley, Creme and Gouldman [whoformed 10cc in 1972], put together a rather strange album! Hippie commune: Early Vertigo band, a male/female duo making the sort of music you'd expect to hear on a hippie commune. "You're The Only One Joe" is one of those songs whichsticks in your head for all of eternity. Members of 10cc played on SpaceHymns, the one I heard, which is housed in an impressive poster cover.Novel, but definitely not essential. Ramases: 'Space Hymns', including great fold-out cover, studiowork by Godley & Creme;apparently expounds religious visions of infinite regress of microscopic universes. Inside cover of CD re-issue Inside cover of LP Original Roger Dean painting, taken from RogerDean's book "Views" Original fold-out album cover, taken from the Sirwan Records website Himnos del espacio My name is Toņo, and I live in Spain. I have this album from the year 1972 that started in Spain, the purchase of the album it was a chance, but well it was the cover the one that decided me to buy it. But to the first one he/she listens I realized that he/she had made a great purchase. Front cover for 'Himnos del espacio', Back cover for 'Himnos del espacio', Australian CD: I bought a newly released Ramases "Space Hymns" CD on eBay - it has six bonus tracks from "Glass Top Coffin" which are tracks 2, 3, 6, 9, 10 and 11. CD is on Progressive Line a division of Dole Music - Made in Australia P 1971/75 C 2001 Back cover for 'Space Hymns' Australian CD re-issue, God Voice: Just for correctness reasons, note that track 14 of the Australian 'Space Hymns' CD is erroneously referred to as 'Only The Loneliest Feeling' on the CD cover, while in fact the track included in the CD is 'God Voice'!
