Durban International Blues Festival
Attention Rosemary and Leon RADIO TODAY 1485
From Tanya and the DIBF team Durban International Blues Festival
Date 11 July 2006
Dear Rosemary, Leon, James, Roy and everyone at 1485
What can I say on behalf of the Durban International Blues Festival?
Thank you all so much for the invaluable and sincere support you have given us, all on risk and with more enthusiasm than I can mention.
The fact that you also arranged to come over on your own steam and sorted this sponsorship yourselves is something we have been blown away by as we would really have understood if it was not possible- sadly we were no such a budget this year we could not assist in the smallest way! This you need to know is remembered and appreciated (and Rosemary - sitting at the airport – determined to board a plane at all costs: Unbelievable!)
Rosemary your professionalism and flexibility has made it a pure pleasure and we look forward to the building of this relationship again on many projects.
We struggled through against many odds and have come through proudly on the other side, convinced that the DIBF is here to stay! It received incredible interest and we will look forward to greater and wider attendance next year as we have had the opportunity as on does on such events, to do the proverbial S.W.O.T. analysis indeed! We will start negotiations for next year almost at once.
Once the dust settles, we will give you a more detailed review and where possible I will ask Kai to scan through a cross section of media clippings which I will start collating asap.
Thank you most sincerely from all of us and we are so proud to be associated with Radio Today 1485 and each of you as individuals.
Sincerely
Tanya van Agthoven
