Senior Producer, Sound engineer, Dancer

I was born in Kimberley, Northern Cape on the 15th December 1978. My schooling took place between Kimberly & Johannesburg , as we moved around quite a bit. In 1994 I official moved to JHB as I wanted to further my sports. In 1996 I matriculated @ Ferndale High School. Ferndale was a joy for me. Sport and Drama was my love. I achieved Full Colours for 1st Team Rugby, Cricket & Soccer.

In 1997 I joined Varsity College where I studied Travel & Tourism @ Varsity College. I became Sports co-ordinator for the SLB ( Student Liason Body ). In that time I coached at Ferndale High and Bordeaux Primary to fund my studies.

1998 was the "best year of my life". Played rugby in New Zealand, started & co-owned a dance production which ran from 1998 to 2001. The dancing allowed me to travel the country.

In 2000 I did a Television Presenting course at the SABC. Worked at Edgars, Health Connection, Foschini, @ Home before dancing in Taiwan in 2003. After Taiwan I chose to stop dancing but needed to be surrounded by "Music".

I enjoy reading biographies, love rugby (Auckland Blues), football (Real Madrid). My music tastes ranges from Jacksons, Frank Sinatra (cool), Elvis (The King), but my favorite is Prince, how can’t you. Oh yes & anything that "swings" like a well oiled gate!

I joined 1485 Radio Today in June 2003. (Ah!, music & very good music). Being surrounded by music is a blessing. I work with pro’s everyday & it’s a joy.

At 1485 I received training as a sound engineer & producer. I’ve been fortunate to also present for a couple of months, handling horseracing & playing some of my favourites.

I am currently dancing for "Fusion Dance", we do Spanish, Brazilian, Hip Hop, Belly Dancing, 60’s Cabaret, Latin & Fusion I have appeared in several TV commercials (MTN, AIDS Awareness DSTV, MTV, CSN, etc).

I am blessed to be a part of a very exciting "Team" called 1485 Radio Today.
